The Access Centre offers information, referral and access to services to help individuals manintain health, independence and quality of life.
Service is available for all age groups, from newborns to frail and elderly residents of Lanark, Leeds & Grenville. The Access Centre offers help for clients with acute illnesses, disabilities, and those requiring placement to a long term care facility. Services are available in the home, school, workplace or long term care facility.

Providing seniors with the necessary support to live in dignity is a priority for the Government of Canada, specifically for those who are vulnerable due to lower incomes. The Guaranteed Income Supplement under Canada's Public Pensions are benefits to help low-income seniors in Canada.
*If pensioners or their spouses took time out of the workforce to stay home and raise children, then they may be eligible for the child rearing drop out provision when they apply for CPP, or if they are currently in receipt of CPP they should do so immediately to ensure that the program has been applied to their benefit.
